The third volume of this publication covers a wide range of topics, from the challenges facing democracy and the question of truth in media reporting to the propaganda war raging on all sides, from the role of the human factor and the public in decision-making processes to considerations on psychological and mental preparation for crisis situations, from facets of international relations in the context of the international community, the EU, and the rule of law, to reflections on economic strategic autonomy and the growing influence of China, and finally to questions of future geostrategy and the potential for resilience in the struggle for survival as a specific social entity, culminating in the concept of relative resilience. Prof. Dr Klemens H. Fischer is a professor of international relations and geopolitics at the University of Cologne. He is a board member and senior fellow at the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy, Vienna, and a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, London.
